Setting Up a VoIP Softphone

For cell phone and tablet VoIP use, we suggest Grandstream Wave – it is straight-forward to configure and does not contain ads. You’ll find it in the app store on each device, free of charge.


Please contact support@voice2net.ca for the specific settings you will require for your Softphone. Below are examples:


Account Name = Your Name

SIP Server = phone2net.ca:7160

SIP User ID = 613#######

SIP Authentication ID = 613#######

Password = *your SIP password*

Voicemail UserID = 613#######

If you use WiFi everywhere you could really cut down on your cell phone minutes.
